Free Rein Equine Rescue
Free Rein Equine Rescue is dedicated to preventing horses from ending up being neglected and abused by intervening before they enter the slaughter pipeline and giving under privileged children the opportunity to experience the confidence and responsibility of caring for horses. Free Rein will carry out this mission by offering feed and care to those individuals who have fallen on hard times. We will provide feed and health care for a period of time to let the owner of the horse get back on their feet financially. What better place for a horse to be than with the one who loves them most.
We will take in horses whose owners can no longer meet their needs and avoid the harsh process of going through auction and potentially ending up heading to slaughter. We will rescue, rehab and rehome these horses. Free Rein will provide horse camp experiences for children whose parents would not otherwise be able to afford horse related activities. We will provide a safe place for children to learn responsibility and gain confidence through the healing power of working with horses.

About Your Donations, Where & How They Are Used
All Donations to Free Rein Equine Rescue are tax deductible to the furthest extent of the law. We are an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose EIN is 83-3795609. As a participating Candid and Guidestar organization, our IRS 990 is publically available. At the present time no staff or volunteers receive salary or compensation other than for travel to and from events. 100% of your funds are applied to Programs beneficially impacting our Rescues!
